Belwood Poultry appeal revived

The appeal that Belwood Poultry has filed against the Ontario Turkey Producers Marketing Board has been revived after sitting on the shelf this summer.

It is now scheduled for Nov. 7 at the tribunal’s offices at the OMAFRA head office in Guelph.

There has been no information about the nature of the appeal either from the tribunal’s posting nor from the Schlegel family which controls Belwood and is one of the biggest turkey quota holders in Canada.
