Farmers urged to cut antibiotic use

Yet another report is raising concerns about antibiotic-resistant bacteria that

are coming with the nation’s food supply.

The new report today comes from a group of physicians, veterinarians, and

infectious disease researchers convened by the George Washington University

Milken Institute School of Public Health.

The report makes 11 recommendations, including the compilation and release

of more accurate data on antibiotic sales for farm use.
